EPW - Swiss, mvt and dial marked for retailer James Allen & Co. of Charleston, South Carolina, 50mm, heavy 14K multicolor gold box hinge HC recase, front with rose gold shield surrounded by multicolor floral detail, rear with a central mine cut diamond that weighs approximately 0.25 ct, surrounded by multicolor floral arrangement and perimeter 8-point circular shield, hexagonal pendant, gold cuvette, white enamel DS dial with gold foil accents between hour numerals, fancy gilt Louis XV style hands, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, 20-21J, nickel damascene, s#80413. Gross weight of assembled watch 79.2 dwt (123.2 g). A heavy multicolor box hinge gold case with an attractive and substantial in hand presence.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, numerous scattered fine and micro-fine scratches, spacers inserted beneath case screws; dial affixed by small screws at perimeter at 5 and 11, chipping around these affixing screws; excellent hands; case shows light wear; cuvette with some scratches from slipped openings and cuvette with sharp depression at center from culet of diamond, ding to upper left perimeter of rear, engraving detail with reduction primarily at front and rear shoulders; small sized replacement bow pivots freely, replacement crown shows hardly any wear; clean plastic crystal.
